Before October 1, 2006, get Thailand visa is very easy. Many countries can have visa on arrival for 30 days. Then just leave at any border and get in again you will get another 30 days waive visa stamp.

“On October 1 the Kingdom of Thailand introduced a new visa policy to restrict the number of times a foreigner can enter the country during a certain period of time.

The policy states that one can only stay in Thailand for 90 days in a period of six months, after which one must leave the country and stay outside for another 90 days before they can re-enter.”

This mean you will still get 30 days visa on arrival and if it going to expire, you just leave at the border and get in again you will get another 30 days. If you already stay in Thailand for 90 days, you need to leave the country or stay outside for another 90 days!

If you apply for visa at any Thailand Embassy, you will get 60 days single entry visa and then you can extend only another 30 days for 1,900 Baht. ($US 50)

Vsa expiration date as shown on the visa, is called visa validity.

The Expiration Date for the visa should not be confused with the authorized length of your stay in Thailand, given to you by the immigration officer at port-of-entry. The visa expiration date has nothing to do with the authorized length of your stay in Thailand for any given visit.

I have a chance to see the “Pride in park” fair for gay people in Bangkok, Thailand last week. It was in Suan Lumpini (Lumpini park), Bangkok. There are many booths to give information about gay, sex and health in the fair. I found that is useful even not for gay people.

Those people are friendly and smile. All the time music is fun and great asmosphere. It’s about half foriegner and half Thai in the fair.

Some of booths sell books, movies, t-shirt and underwear. Also inside the gym has volleyball competition.

The is also Mr. Sexy underwear content at the pool too. There are so many people waiting at the pool to take the photo and see the contest. I didn’t wait to see who win, but I took some photo from the contest below

They are just good looking and nice body in small sexy underwear/swinsuit. I think this is one reason of gay people would like to travel or even relocate to Thailand because Thailand has most wonderful gay male in the world. Handsome, smooth, and dark features.

Imagine you are having fun on your trip and then you have an accident (Well nobody wants that, but who knows?) then you will have to pay a lot because you don’t have insurance!So an accident can’t wait until you get back home, but it will need to be handled immediatly to protect a part of yourself.

Then not only are you frustrated that you didn’t have fun, but you are also frustrated that you have to pay for the doctor/medicine cost!

Here is a story happened to myself.

I went to Flagstaff in the northern part of Arizona to see the first snow in my life (I had flown from Thailand and had never ever seen the snow) so I am enjoying the bright, clean, light and cold from the snow very much.

Unfortunately I didn’t buy the travel insurance before the trip and I got some headache and pain focused on my left ear.

During the driving (it’s a one-day roadtrip) it caused my ears to pop a lot, I could say more than 20 times because we drove in to the high pressure (drive to north and cold)

On the way back home, I hurt so much and got sick also. My left ear couldn’t pop anymore so I can’t hear well and I heard myself breathe and chew food so loud.

I had tried so many things and many suggestions, but it didn’t help or even get better. I got better from feeling sick, but my ear was still the same.

I was in that situation for like 2 weeks and I couldn’t get over that sick. Finally I went to see the doctor before my ear got infected and I couldn’t hear anything anymore.

It cost me $200!! I have never paid that much in my life for a doctor visit (not including the medicine)

So If I had insurance I would pay only $10 - $20. I don’t have a choice and I chose my body, not my money.

Now you know that the travel insurance is important!
